News from Japan or Asia.
Universal Music Japan released the remastered version of the soundtrack to the Sg. Pepper film on June 29th. This surprising choice is actually a part of the project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' one and only visit to Japan.
The new 2-CD package includes the poster (smaller) that was in the original 1978 release as well as the reproduced "obi" strip from it.

Also, a Taiwanese film inspired by the Bee Gees song and titled "First of May" was released in Tokyo, etc. in May.
