I am sorry for everyone who had to go through the storm, especially those whose family experience a life lost. It's bad enough when you have a damaged house or power out for a long time. This reminds me of the ice storms in 1998 which caused power to be out in Eastern Canada and Maine for weeks; apparently in some areas for a month. The vast majority of trees in Montreal were damaged and the power grid actually had to be rebuilt, not repaired according to wikipedia. You can't beat mother nature when she decides to throw a big weather obstacle at us. Glad to hear you are okay, Joe, and that you had relatives to camp out at while you did not have power. I wonder how many people are going to have some form of hypothermia or frostbite damage due to lack of heat, not to mention die from carbon monoxide poisoning, etc... When might your power be on, Joe. And, in the meantime, if you can, please listen to the radio interview with Barry that was really good and insightful; I want your imput into what you think of it. For that matter, is Andrew still around? I would love to hear his impressions too. Yasmine On 06/11/2012 7:05 AM, Bette Hanson wrote: >> SO very glad to hear you and your family are okay Joe.
