It's kind of like not all Bee Gees fans liked the change to R&B=20
stylings in the 70s but they had to change direction or their career=20
would have been over. Also this is Barry Gibb music-not Bee Gees music.=20
Robin went off in a different musical direction by doing Titanic and=20
that was Robin Gibb music. I am sure not all Bee Gees fans embraced=20
that style-no disrespect toward Robin intended. I think that was one of=20
their disagreements going forward-what musical direction would they go=20
in? Or would they rehash old Bee Gees music?

I'm not fan of the music they call "country" today. I like the older=20
style of
Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson so I can appreciate the direction=20
he's going.

It could have been an issue, but my sense is that the real problem was
getting Barry to actually commit to anything concrete. Ultimately, I think that
was the biggest obstacle. The idea that they couldn't agree about how to
go forward and weren't on the same page doesn't seem right. At least as a
reason for not reuniting. Robin seemed game for just about anything in order
to work with Barry again. Sadly, it never happened.
