For the King Biscuit Flower Hour, type in Bee Gees Live + King Biscuit 194=
. That will bring up all those "videos," which is actually only audio, no a=
ctual video to speak of.=20
"Wouldn't I Be Someone" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DgEkLJjZ_oLE=20
Interesting that this one has been posted it said for four months but I onl=
y found it yesterday. I was looking for the promo for "Don't Wanna Live Ins=
ide Myself," which was an alternate take, slightly different to the version=
released originally (different piano part), which I didn't find but did fi=
nd this one. There's also a promo video for "Mr. Natural," which if you hav=
en't seen it, you can find it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dmsrs6=

"Portrait of Louise" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D0LMAns5V2ao
Pretty good version that sounds reasonably close to the released version, e=
xcept that it's the Bee Gees live in New York, 1971.
I'm still watching for more of the rarities to be posted. I keep wondering =
who's posting this stuff and where they are getting it from?=20
Peace,
Frank

I want to thank Anne Simpson for sharing the photos. Anne is an amazing and=
caring human being. We are blessed to have this group of fans. I just cri=
ed seeing the photos, but, as Anne and Barry said, that's life. Better to h=
ave lived this life and suffer this loss with you fans, than to have been a r=
ock and never know Robin's amazing voice, wisdom and love.
Love, Tom

It would be nice to know if he is planning concerts in the US, Europe=20
or other places. That way if he is not, the fans would know and might=20
travel to see him in Australia. I think Barry wants to do this as a=20
tribute to his brothers because he is in total control of the song=20
list, where he is playing and other aspects. Plus he has been saying he=20
wanted to go back to Australia. A major source of contention with Robin=20
was in how to honor Maurice after he died. Unfortunately nothing ended=20
up being done then. This is a chance for the public to remember the Bee=20
Gees on a positive note.

Hi Anne:
I full agree with your thought...For the future..=20
and for
the past.
I only let me to have a doubt...: Couldn't be that Barry accept=20
this
comitement..in Australia
1 ) Because he must want to recover.. his other sister..Leslie =20
who must
be needed very much now. Besides
This.. might be a good explanation: 2) Robin himself.. may have=20
ask Barry
.. not to let the Beegees fall down.. after his death, in order to keep=20
this
"music -knighthood " alive.. just.. "keeping Alive their..BeeGees=20
dreams for a
little more.., or , for a worthy farewell. ?
Perhaps Barry feel he must do something to honor their Group ,=20
wich
farther than any difference, is their all life of Brothers ....doing=20
their best.
This is their life!..
Finally .. who may say that Staying Alive, was not done..=20
because.. they
unconsciously knew how it will be the future..in this year 2012 by=20
doing ESP
?... :)
I wish I could have been at Thame to honour the blue plaque=20
unveiling to
Robin.
I swear , some day I'll be there. :). Thanks you for having been=20
present.
Zule:)

I don't agree for one minute that Barry could have accomplished more as=20
a
solo artist. The three of them needed each other, fed off each other's
creativity and shared dreams. When Barry got a chance to go solo, he
essentially flopped (much to my surprise).
It seems that as they matured, and with Mo's death, he and Robin just
couldn't agree on a shared creative path. But that still didn't lead=20
to a
successful solo career for Barry, did it? He just seemed to retire in=20
that
ratty old sweater, while Robin toured his little heart out. At least,
that's how I see it.
Any problems seem to have arisen from rights to songs - giving credit=20
where
credit was due etc. It was sad in the Australian interview Barry just=20
gave
that he said all his brothers died at a time when they weren't getting
along. I wondered what the problem might have been with Maurice (never
having heard of him being in conflict w Barry) and can only think of=20
the
business aspects of their career. And Robin - was it upset at Robin=20
wanting
to perform with him again, or upset at him not having gotten medical
treatment earlier? Maybe only the family and close friends know.
I don't know what you mean by, "Barry was not happy with the fact that=20
he
could not mention the 'Grammy' he won with Streisand." Couldn't=20
mention it
to whom? It's well known! And in any event, that was decades ago. =20
There
had to be more going on.
If he was done with the Bee Gees, I suspect it was after Mo died and he=20
and
Robin dealt with their grief very differently. But Barry has recently=20
shown
he still has the hunger, and I suspect THAT is a reaction to Rob's=20
death -
as in, get up and DO while you still can!
Anne
