I`m not too fond of the techno-pop sound, but from what we heard, its not too heavily used, and when it IS used, its used well - giving a VERY contemporary sound. At least a couple of the songs could more than hold their own out there in the charts of today. There was a lovely mixture of sounds and styles in the samples, which will hopefully be continued on into the finished album. Someone was asking recently if there were any more Bunbury books available, so thought this might be helpful. I found it by accident, when I was searching for any reference to David English's new book - hoping to find it in Australia, but no luck :-( From Mary Pridham, Adelaide, South Oz ------=_NextPart_000_000E_01C27686.88C37000-- ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2002 19:57:02 -0400 From: "Anne Simpson" Subject: Re: Robin's New Album That's great news, Jean! Au contraire. But I do know any reference I sneak in is sure to draw a response from you. The unknown is whether you will take umbrage .
