I often turn nocturnal and feral during the summer. I wake up at 3am, start writing first drafts of novels that can't possibly be published. And once I figure out, two chapters in, that I won't get away with it (a sample book title: "Life After Santa: Rudolph's Story") I start making baked ziti at 3am instead. Only to discover that refrigerator and freezer are both full. Obviously this is no way to conduct myself at my age. But had I seen your email, I would have done my best to find the YouTube clip. My sincere thanks to KittLarue for doing that in my absence. Meanwhile, The Song That Wouldn't Go Away has returned. By this I mean, the slow part to Staying Alive. https://youtu.be/OJq9ElNFmuw ITV TV (does anyone ever call it ITV TV?) in London has a one hour broadcast in which that lost song showed up once again. But this time it is in a legitimate television broadcast, thus being given broadcast-based legitimacy under the rule of law after nearly half a century. I recognize this is no longer news. But since my tragic tale of a red nosed reindeer going into therapy is a lost cause, well... we take our solace where we find it. . David Garcia, now ruining "easy recipes for Sesame Noodles" until autumn finally arrives in NYC. The floating keyboard mode on my phone results in stray characters here and there, and it had not occurred to me to proofread the subject line as well...) Back to top
