Yes, I agree. I hope you didn't take my comments to be that I took Barry's comments as verbatim truth because I don't. And again yes, I'm sure it was more complicated than as Barry, somewhat cryptically, described.
I just thought that his comments, at least to a degree, shed some light as to why Robin took such a back seat to Barry with the lead vocals in the late 70's. It has been something that many of us have thought about over the years, so it caught my attentio

How about in private?
Seriously though, you are right. It goes back to the breakup in 1969. If you look at their comments, Robin was largely restrained when it came to responding to Barry, who was much more willing to go after Robin publicly. And yes, I would have to think Rob

I finally got around to trying to play these videos. Sadly, YouTube told me they were blocked in my country (United States). For those of you to whom this has happened, you can still view them using a VPN server such as Hola (link below).
http://hola.org/
Note: I got picture but no sound on these YouTube videos using my smart phone with Hola. No idea why. Then I brought them up on my PC using Hola, and was able to get both picture and sound with no problem. Fantastic performances!
Anyway, try this if you still want to watch these videos and aren’t able to.

Uh, I have to admit I often found that to be true as well. I might not put it as strongly as you did Kevin, but Barry doesn't appear as substantive as you would expect. And I'm not saying that because he's voting for Trump!

Your wife didn't like their music or just thought they weren't nice guys? LOL

How right you are. Real estate developers have quite a few legal loopholes at their disposal. Of course lose is another rabbit hole one can slip through. And I am not a tax accountant.
This tax story is not new. I worked for The Donald, opening two casinos in Atlantic City, The Castle and the Taj. Trump entered into gaming in the early 80s when he opened Trump Plaza. He purchased The Castle in 85 from Hilton as they couldn't attain a ga
I will admit, Trump took care of his employees, but I was backed by the union so he couldn't stiff me. LOL. He had a hell of a clientele and there was money for all (I still had to pay my taxes). Trump had no problem in stiffing many contractors putting m

I was thinking that. It is an interesting dynamic where Barry would be
negative in some way towards the twins but they never, ever, said one
thing negative towards him in public. I will say Barry is more
forthcoming with his thoughts and feelings now, after they are dead, but
he certainly could be clear while they were alive. I would have to have
thought it hurt the twins. Yasmine

Hi, even allowing for rhetoric, it is an appalling statement. But then,
right or wrong, Barry has never been know to be sophisticated in any way
politically. It is too bad that, given how polarized politics are in
the States, that he did not keep his mouth shut, imho. I have to
wonder, though, if he even votes.
I also confess to being puzzled by how at least some, not all, rich folk
(and I mean Barry's level of rich) seem to have this attitude that their
money is going to disappear if they do not husband it. It is like money
is a living thing that they have to protect. And I get that Barry is
still affected by his poverty stricken childhood and that that is going
to colour his attitude forever. Still, I would hope that he, and
others, would realize that they will not be anywhere near the poorhouse
if, for instance, taxes were raised or loopholes closed. It is kinda
sad, when you think of it. It is like you are controlled by the money,
not the other way around. Yasmine
