We can post it on RG.com. That way it would be easier for Robin to pick which songs we would allow him to sing. Richard Richard why does Robin who has been in the pop world for over 40 years and co wrote some of the best songs ever keep going over old ground. As far as the concert's go has sung lead on enough B/G tracks as well as solo and could have added some new material to fill 90 minutes. I feel he's living on past glory and we know he's better than that. All I want is a new album (not with a co singer who who has come from a different generation)to have songs on it wrote by Robin sung by Robin to the standard we have come to expect over the last 40 years. I know the Russian's ect ect want the Bee Gees but dont we all, some one tell them, Germany and Asia that the BG's are no more before they book Andrew Ridgley for a Wham concert Brian ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Jul 2005 15:30:55 -0400 From: lagerg@aol.com Subject: Re: WOMAN IN LOVE Pt 2? Is it a fact that Robin was frozen out of the Streisand project? I have some serious doubts about that one. Of COURSE Robin sang it well! Who said he didn't? And yet, just as there were Beatles fans offended at the thought of "Revolution" being used in a Nike commercial, so some were offended at the thought of the Bee Gee -dominated Sgt Pepper soundtrack. Not the soundtrack itself, but the mere THOUGHT of the soundtrack. And now we have Bee Gees fans offended at the mere THOUGHT of Robin doing (or at least producing) a non-Robin centered Bee Gees song. Wow. Just ...wow.
