Barry takes his tea very seriously, and he was probably shocked at seeing her do this, so it has stuck in his mind. Joe Brennan >It also adds to the rumour that Barbra is a real cheapskate. Sarah > It's old news, although I think he's exaggerated it slightly over the years. According to Da Book, it was only 2 cups to a tea bag! At the time, I think he was on his best behaviour, and was too shy to say anything at the time, but it seemed he wasn't too pleased as, like many Englishmen, he likes his cuppa and he is obsessed with having it made properly - good and strong. It obviously made quite an impression on him as it seems he still hasn't forgiven her:o) Maybe, as she wants to record with him again after all this time, he doesn't feel so shy about speaking his mind now. Although he made it sound like a joke, he's probably been waiting to say that for 25 years! At least he doesn't seem to have mentioned the rats that he saw around her house - he saw them and opened his mouth to speak, but Tom Kennedy nudge him and motioned to him not to say anything. As Tom said afterwards, when Linda asked why they didn't say anything, "I'm not going to tell Barbra Streisand she's got rats. She's one of the biggest stars in the world". So at least he didn't bring that up!
