On Saturday's chat, someone asked about throat surgery, and Barry said that... his dog had throat surgery. The explanation was that the dog couldn't hear his own bark, to which I insensitively replied, "Good Lord, even Barry's DOG barks in falsetto..." You had to be there, I guess. David Garcia, who's hoping another chat roomie was there to witness this, otherwise everyone will assume (wrongly, in this case) that I'm making that up in Staten Island, NY garcia10303@yahoo.com ______________________________________________________ Click here to donate to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. http://store.yahoo.com/redcross-donate3/ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 7 Sep 2005 17:54:38 EDT From: Compoccias@aol.com Subject: Re: Busted! I wasn't there, but I love it. The question now arises as to how long it will be before some Gibb composition will be linked to the dog's throat surgery. Doug (who previously overlooked the much-anticipated Robin Gibb / Suzi Quattro hookup, when trying to decide between singing with Babs or Liz AND Alistair. Throwing Leather Tuscadaro into the mix casts everything in a whole new light.) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Sep 2005 20:58:30 -0400 From: Joseph Brennan Subject: Re: Eager To Blame Doug Wilson wrote: > (who previously overlooked the much-anticipated Robin Gibb / Suzi Quattro > hookup, Never mind that Doug, think deeply about Neil Young being the artist Barry most wants to work with. Could their styles be more different? Imagine "Ragged Glory Too" with Barry playing distorted rhythm guitar and screaming out lyrics about rain and sadness with Neil and Crazy Horse. Dear God I would buy that CD. Lose this Streisand stuff.
