Just >my view of course Mark At times perhaps, but then how can you explain all those songs he wrote as a solo artist, as well as with the Bee Gees, with such strong lyrics? Even the odd lyrics are often interesting. As for melody I do think Robin was certainly capable of coming up with beautiful melodies, but when I listen to all the solo material from 1969-70 I sense he was re-cycling some of the same melodies and that Kenny Clayton's arrangements and orchestration Sal Salvatore Compoccia compoccia@aol.com Back to top
