Me too. It's so embarrassing, like getting the identities wrong with Laurel
and Hardy...
But in this day and age, the amazing thing is that, when you do a google
search for Albhy Galuten, he is the only name that shows up. A unique
advantage in the internet age.
The other day I was looking up "She Believes in Me" on Wikipedia. I wanted
to know who wrote it, and what else they had written. And Wikipedia said it
was written by... Steve Gibb.
My first thought was, I only know one Steve Gibb, and if he wrote that in
1978, he wrote it in crayon. But the Wikipedia page is quick to point out
the obvious, that this Steve Gibb is not the son of Barry Gibb. Barry's
eldest boy has his own Wikipedia page. The Steve Gibb who wrote the song
that Kenny Rogers topped the charts with... well he has no link to a page
at all. Alas.
And good luck finding out anything about him. There are a great many Steve
Gibbs in the world, and one can only hope all those royalty checks got
mailed to the right one..
.
David Garcia, not to be confused with the other David Garcia, nor that one,
nor you know, that OTHER one...in NYC
.
