Hello Doug,
Funny you should mention Bethany, because I was actually
thinking of her when I wrote about how Robin would be rude to
fans. (That was actually from the perspective of my Barry-loving
friend.) I once got into trouble with her when I posted that
Robin did not like to be touched. She would have none of
that. Robin had to be the picture of angelic sweetness for
her. But I think Robin did have trouble with being touched. When
he was prepared, yes, he could handle that; but when he was not,
I think it was sometimes a shock and torture for him. And there
were times I really felt sorry for him.
If my previous post gave you the impression that I was putting
down Robin in favour of Barry, I'm sorry but that was just
because I did not write it well enough. I thought I made it
pretty clear that I am and was what you might term as "Robin's
girl." Rude or not rude, I just liked and like him the way he
was. He was the most genuine man I've ever known. He had the
most beautiful heart. But he was oh-so inappropriate at times,
too. Still I would not have wanted him to be any different.

How dare you say he didn't like to be touched! I having never met him myself; know for a fact that he, like every other celeb, lived to be groped incessantly by every adoring creeper who came within reach. He was and remains a perfect and faultless man.
