Somehow it is comforting to know Barbara is still in=20 Robin's apartment; kinda like a piece of him is still around in the air=20 in Miami. This clarifies some things, brings up questions on others. =20 What was Robin's reaction when others pointed out that Barry showed no=20 inclination of working with him? If Robin was that concerned about=20 Barry's reaction to those projects, why did he not pick up the phone (or=20 fly to Miami to visit) to clarify what Barry thought about whatever the=20 idea was. At least that way, Barry would know Robin cared about what he=20 thought a lot and would know how badly Robin wanted to work with him. =20 Now, maybe Robin did call/visit, maybe Barry did know all of this but my=20 inclination is to think that they did not. I also wonder if Robin held=20 out so much hope for so long because Barry was, for the most part,=20 inactive musically. If Barry had done the solo work he has done since=20 Robin died while he lived, would Robin have finally realized that Barry=20 was not interested and moved on? I am so sad on many different levels to hear about all the projects=20 Robin either went along with but did not want to or postponed or=20 declined. I am sad for Robin that he could not make his own life=20 professionally which, I think, would have been incredibly satisfying for=20 him; he did not have to have an organized solo career as such but he=20 could have just done projects as they came down the pike. It was a general problem that communicating with Robin when he was at The Prebendal was difficult. A number of us have that song as a favourite. I love it too. Given the response, it was really too bad it was not included on TIWICI, even as a extra song on the TIWICI single. All we have is a fairly crappy quality mp3 file. I appreciate whomever snuck out that file but I can only imaging how good it sounds on cd quality with a lot of the missing pieces due to compression back in. Anyway, it is a wonderful song. For those who have not heard it, it should be on youtube. Yasmine On 12/06/2013 9:50 PM, swortman@ns.sympatico.ca wrote: > > I was listening to a Robin Gibb song that was never released.
