It appears as if youtube has finally released my posting of the MuchMoreMusic (Canadian equivalent of VH1?) 2001 interview with our heroes while they were publicizing TIWICI. YT had blocked it because of copyright but I finally disputed it and apparently it is available. Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBrXU75wJXE. Please let me know if the interview plays for you. There are some cute moments like the brothers' take on writing romantic lyrics at the end of the interview, for one. One part that always cracks me up is at the beginning when they are interviewing people on the beach (it was shot at Middle Ear) and there is this couple in what I can only describe as a silver lame bodysuite; quite the visual! The best part is I think they had one of the most insightful comments. Also, Robin is wearing a 54 seconds tee shirt, although he does not mention Spencer or his band during the interview. Robin's comments on Sesame St. Fever are quite funny; I am quite surprised it was hanging up on ME's wall but there it was, among all the other albums. Anyway, what, if anything, struck you about the interview? Oh, it has very annoying, cutesy video angles; please ignore.
