The Bee Gees star was "desperately worried" for Robin-John, 25, after his pancreas flared up and he was rushed for treatment. A source said: "RJ was poorly before with pancreas trouble. Last time he was in intensive care so the family took no chances." The singer, 58, was due to attend a London charity lunch on Sunday but pulled out after staying up all night by his son's bed. A source said: "Robin never lets anyone down so everyone knew it was serious." RJ - who composes film music and was treated near Oxford - went home on Sunday. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Apr 2008 12:42:22 -0700 (PDT) From: Eu Mesmo Subject: testing test please ignore ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Apr 2008 19:07:59 EDT From: CAPT1SEPT@aol.com Subject: Re: Robin John I hope and pray that Robin John is OK and makes a speedy recovery. My brother has had problems with his pancreas on several occasions and each time required a stay in the hospital for two or three days. My brother-in-law has also had a problem with his pancreas but so far, has managed to avoid the hospital. How, I don't know. A pancreatitis attack is a frightening experience as the person is dealing with a lot of pain and it has the potential to immobilize the person. My brother was driving down the highway when one of the attacks hit him. Luckily, he had a friend with him who drove him to the hospital and called his wife, my sisters and myself. One can make a speedy recovery with the drugs given to fight the ailment. The only trouble is that when the person is taken off the drugs, there's a chance the person will suffer another pancreatic attack in the future. Hopefully, that won't happen with Robin John but reading the article does seem to suggest that the flare up wasn't the first one for him. He and all of his family definitely has my sympathy. Maybe that explains the fact that RJ doesn't drive? When I first heard it, I thought it pretty strange for a young man of his age. Now that I know he could have been suffering from these attacks, I think that must be the reason. > He and all of his family definitely has my sympathy. And mine.
