If the prior allegations were to be true, than it cannot be attributed to naivete' or manipulation or whatever. I think the jury is still out on him, so to speak. From what I understand, that 1993 case - which was settled with the boy's parents out of court and resulted in the charges against MJ being dropped- was the stronger case. I agree, Sal, there remains the possibility of paedophilia and, if he was innocent, he was foolish to make himself vulnerable. Personally, I think it was a case of a greedy parent trying to screw as much money out of him as possible. I guess we'll never know for sure, but somehow I can't believe he's as black as he's painted (metaphorically, that is!)
