So it's likely. There's also > the Bunburys, of > course! Didn't know that Phil backed them on the Mandela concert. I know he did back them on the 1988 Princes Trust though together with Howard Jones and Midge Ure. One thing that bugs me with the DVD version of that Princes Trust concert is that they replaced the intro where you saw the various performers being interviewed. I know, they were very short clips, but anyway ... the could have kept it in. I bought a 3-CD set a while back entitled "Superstars in concert". It is a compilation of three Princes Trust concerts and has the Bee Gees 1988 performance of You win again. The performance however does not match that of the one I have on the original video release or the DVD. Was there more than one performance? /Ronnie ===== ************************************** http://hem.passagen.se/rool8206/ ************************************** _____________________________________________________ Följ VM på nära håll på Yahoo!s officielle VM-sajt www.yahoo.se/vm2002 Håll dig ajour med nyheter och resultat, med vinnare och förlorare... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 3 Jun 2002 07:51:19 -0400 From: "Anne Simpson" Subject: Re: Bee Gees and Elton? Ronnie, I bought that CD set too and all I can say is that from the conduct of the vendor, I doubt it was legit. Hmm, as far as I could tell mine looks legit but I have to take a second look when I get back home. I bought mine from one of Swedens biggest mail order companies, Ginza, and they most certainly don't carry pirate or bootleg recordings. Of course I can only speak for the one I have, yours might be an entirely different story. /Ronnie ===== ************************************** http://hem.passagen.se/rool8206/ ************************************** _____________________________________________________ Följ VM på nära håll på Yahoo!s officielle VM-sajt www.yahoo.se/vm2002 Håll dig ajour med nyheter och resultat, med vinnare och förlorare... ------------------------------ End words@brothersgibb.com Digest [06/03/2002 12:01] ----------------------------------------------------
