I'm off to bed now. I bought LE in 1981 when it came out, and I loved it.= My sister (Who hated isco and loves Zepplin, Aerosmith, etc.) Liked it, = My mother who listens to country and classical and does not like the Bee = Gees liked it. It was a good album that just did not get any recognition= .. =20 Christine E. ----- Original Message ----- From: Julian Glass I agree. I have the one from Japan. I always liked it because of the spirituality in a lot of the lyrics, but I always think of it as a collection of sad songs. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 May 2002 22:53:23 -0300 From: "Meta D" Subject: Re: Living Eyes/Japan again Thanks for the encouragement Keiko....but I got three emails from HMV today - the first confirming and saying "on the way", the second - "Oops, it may be delayed a bit" - the third "Oh-oh, we goofed and someone's getting fired for this!" Well, not quite , but close! Drat! Knew it was too good to be true... But, like Ronnie I was market browsing on the weekend and picked up Tapestry Revisited for a "song" and a perfect clean original lp of Main Course for $3 bucks (that's approx. 18 cents US by your conversion rate, Ronnie!) - so I am consoled, sorta. All the sellers I talked to said the same thing - they have very little BG's stuff - in either cd or lp - it sells like crazy - and the hot tickets are Living Eyes and the Melody soundtrack, even in far flung Nova Scotia. Regardless, I'm loving the hunt!
