There is a sports exhibition this weekend at Biscayne Park and they interviewed him briefly about paintball. I was caught by surprise so I'm hoping they'll show it again at 11:00. In pre-communist Cuba, the Copacabana was THE hedonistic nightclub for Americans tourists. It showcased the top talent, as well the "Copa girls." (Not to mention, organized crime.) Appearing at the Copa could make a career (or get you killed!). The saga of Lola, the poor showgirl, was written by Manilow (music) and Bruce Sussman & Jack Feldman (lyrics). They also wrote the book for the musical. Even with the digital editing capabilities that we have today, it's very difficult to edit a word together and make it sound clean. It would have been almost impossible in '78, as they would have had to splice the physical tape. On a side note, I believe that Middle Ear was one of the first studios built that had digital capabilities. I remember reading a profile of the studio in MIX magazine in the early 80's and Karl Richardson went on at great length about the SEMPTE time code and digital editing. Where are those guys?? What are they doing??? This list needs some new Bee Gee info to get back to the subject of this list!!! The Bee Gees have really dropped out of sight at the moment!! ****************** I agree - where are those boys and what are they up to!!!!! We need someone in Miami to scope it out - or the UK - maybe they are enjoying the English springtime!! I feel like I need a Bee Gee fix. I have been listening to the Beatles of late - something unusual for me - PLEASE help me get back to the important music!!!-- not that the Beatles are not important, but there is only one Barry, Robin and Mo. mouse __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
